I got one of these green ones last time the deal was live and while it's a quality controller functionally, the light around the home button is very bright if you play in a dark room- to the point that it was unusable for me without covering with electrical tape.

This model is not compatible with switch. There are other 8bitdo controllers that specifically note switch compatibility, but are easiest to identify by the Nintendo button layout (a&b,x&y locations swapped). Those are the ones you can update to work with Switch 2.
