I still went with the X5. $355.41+tax on Dell.com after all the discounts you can get. My reasons for choosing the X5 over the X4:
1. 144% larger sensors = 2.44x as much light gathered.
2. The X5 is the first 360 camera that shoot usable video in low light. (The X4's low light video is unusable.)
3. You can swap out the X5's lens at home for $30 when it inevitably gets scratched up.
4. Significantly better audio.
5. Better AI algorithms.
6. Better Dynamic Range.
You can get the X5 at Dell.com for $550 - 10% off if you sign up as a new customer (using a new email address if you are already a registered customer, the customized coupon comes in minutes.) - $100 if you have an Amex card - $39.59 CB via Rebb$bate$$me = $355.41 + tax is what I paid five days ago. Just arrived. CB showing as "Pending", which is normal.
Dell.com also has the X4.
EDIT: Those of you voting this comment down don't understand digital imaging technology. I own multiple professional cameras. I buy most of my technology products "refurbished" (usually brand new, just labeled refurbished for price discrimination) and often buy last year's tech. This time, the low light capability improvement is so massive, it makes no sense to buy the X4 for $300 when you can buy the X5 for $355. Also, I know I will drop this camera many times. Being able to swap out the front element of the lens for $30 at home in two minutes is well worth the price difference alone.

Or at least, for my uses in casual documentation of family vacations and bike rides what not – anything that lessens the hassle of needing to edit and reframe the videos and then export them… well that's worth a couple hundred dollars of my time.
But to that end, I'm not really going to find these cameras truly easy to use until the ai onboard or in the computer/phone is good enough to automatically output decent flat videos.

Assuming you can find the 15% off (I can only find the 10% newsletter deal) and ultimately get the camera for $355
You'd still need to buy the stick ($25), extra battery ($45), and SD card ($25) to compare to the Costco X4 deal - $299 vs $450
To match the Costco X5 price you need to also add the lens cover replacement ($25) - $475 vs $550
So still a better deal if you want the X5 over the X4. I can't decide if the X5 is worth the additional $175 to $250 over the X4
