anyone knows when this offer will end? any catch? my monthly seems $7/mo cheaper with this. they messed up my byod discount since oct 2024 until now, still not showing up.

That sounds like a typical cell phone contract of 36 months these days. That's typical for Verizon.

Tried this with 2 family members that have a single verizon line each

One received the $20 offer per month for 12 months.

The other received this free line with byod. I am going to find a spare phone for him but what rate plan is eligible for being free?

He is currently on the highest plan, unlimited ultimate. Will the free line work with unlimited ultimate or should he just get the welcome plan?
