🕶️ 1. Flash Sale Model (Daily Deals)
Eyedictive uses a flash-sale business model, offering limited-time deals (often 24–48 hours) on a small selection of eyewear. This lets them:
Move inventory quickly
Create urgency (which boosts conversions)
Sell overstock or discontinued styles at a discount
🏷️ 2. Overstock & Closeout Inventory
Eyedictive likely sources products from:
Overstock from manufacturers or retailers
Discontinued models that brands want to clear out
Liquidated goods from other sellers or wholesalers
This allows them to buy inventory for very low prices, which they pass on to customers.
📦 3. No Physical Stores
By operating entirely online, Eyedictive saves on:
Rent and utilities
In-store staff
Physical inventory display costs
Those savings contribute to their low prices.
🔍 4. Limited Warranty, No Customization
They often don't offer:
Prescription lenses (you'll need to get those elsewhere)
Frame adjustments or in-store fittings
Robust warranties or return policies
This lean service model helps reduce operational costs.
📉 5. Lower Marketing Overhead
Rather than large-scale ad campaigns, Eyedictive likely relies on:
Email newsletters
Daily-deal aggregators
Word-of-mouth/referrals
Fewer marketing expenses mean cheaper prices for you.
⚠️ What to Keep in Mind:
Limited styles each day
Final sale or minimal return policy
Prescription lenses not included
Not ideal for picky buyers or those needing adjustments
If you're okay with fewer frills and know your frame size, Eyedictive can be a great way to get high-end eyewear for cheap.
Two were fine.
One set were just thrown into thin cardboard sleeves in an envelope. THey were completely smashed. Their website is annoying to raise a warranty when it was broken in transit. I had to mail them back (their cost), took 3 days to get a response. Then another week and then they refunded.
For these specific glasses, that crossed out price seems WAY overinflated for Nike.
