I use the regular https://a.co/d/a5vob6D which has a simple On/Off switch, no gimmicks, no SOS etc. Great for dog walks at night. It does take regular AA or the 3.7v 14500, which seems to be fantastic. Worth a try!

Are you using a USB C to C cord or a USB A to C cord? Are you using the charging cable the flashlight shipped with? Also, are you using a high speed charger or a lower speed charger like the ones built into those multi wall outlets?
Have you figured out how to make it work? I ordered two and they both have the same problem. I used the provided cables and also tried a different one. Also tried to charge it with a 30w charger and charge it from a laptop USB port.
