Yes I've tried multiple cords, the one it shipped with, USB C to C, USB A to C, multiple chargers. My guess is the battery is dead and just won't charge, but it could be something else. I think I'm just gonna return.

I was able to make both of mine to work by tightening the threads all the way.

I bought it just cause of the tail e-switch. The UI is a bit complicated and too many options to remember. I know them today but probably would not after a week. The 5200 lumens is a bit overhyped. The front end heats up in Turbo mode after a few secs.

The provided 5000mAh battery is overrated too, my tests show 2900 mAh, unless I got a dud.

Its definitely too large in hand to be used during dog walks. For now I'll stick to my 300l ultrafire (3 for $15 on Amzn) and keep this "5200lm" in my car.

I had the same issue and thought it was defective out of the box.

It's the first result when you search for it on Google. Some people can't do a simple keyword search.

Here is the UI for this flashlight

The actions are # of presses followed by a hold (H) or a release (C). So, "1C" is one click and release. "2H" is two clicks but you hold down the last one.

| State | Action | Result |
|------------------|--------|---------------------------------------|
| Off (unlocked) | 1C | On (mode memory) |
| Off (unlocked) | 1H | "Moonlight" (not memorized) |
| Off (unlocked) | 4C | Lockout |
| "Moonlight" | 1H | Eco |
| On | 4C | Toggle stepped/smooth ramping |
| Any (unlocked) | 2C | Turbo (not memorized) |
| Any (unlocked) | 3C | Strobe |
| Strobe | 3C | SOS |
| SOS | 3C | Beacon |
| Turbo or Strobe | 1C | Return to previous mode |
| Lockout | 1C | double-blink |
| Lockout | 1H | Momentary "Moonlight" |
| Lockout | 2C | Unlock & turn on at memorized level |
| Lockout | 4C | Disable auto lockout |
