Every Micro Center slickdeal is salt in the wounds to those of us not fortunate to have one close by.
I was with you when they left Bay Area. But now the newly opened Santa Clara store is within walking distance
Decent deal on solid bundle
IMHO, CAS 36 is fine. You pay a huge premium for 28 or 30 and they benchmark barely any differently.

In the market for a combo. Anyone have an opinion on this versus the 7600 vs 7800? Okay with spending more for banger perferformance.

Little editing, more for gaming, but want solid productivity machine as well

Hopefully it's died down now because I went two weeks ago and the line to check out was over an hour and I left

If you're talking about the 7800x3d, then I'd say x3d all the way. Should last well into the next 2 gens of graphics cards.

Isnt this a better deal? https://www.microcenter.com/produ...ild-bundle

Seems like it is to me. The components have the same retail prices but yours is $50 less for the combo. Unless the $170 Asus mobo is somehow $50 better than the $170 Gigabyte mobo?
