The Bravia 7 65" is still $999 at Costco - really do not see the 65" Bravia 5 being a good deal at $1300 at all, even if it is a 2025 model.

I used to be in the electronic business and I WAS a Sony fanboy.

I'm sorry to say that you're better off with the Hisense. The Sony brand is NOT what it used to be.....

The Sony will have marginal better built quality as well as slightly better reliability !
The ONLY Sony TVs worth buying are their top tier models and the Sony tax is not worth paying.
You might look into a TCL. It's compatible to a Hisense but they do not break as often as the Hisense.
