This post is so overhyped...
  • First of all, this is a mower kit (mower, 7.5ah battery, charger) with a "free" 5ah battery
  • Soncond, I've now got to buy 10 gift cards and use them all plus the 10 free $10 gift cards, both (buying 10 gift cards w/ bonus promo cards and buying mower w/20 gift cards) of which are likely going to be difficult, if possible, to get the store to allow this, which possibly leaves you with $600 in gift cards between 20 cards.
  • Third, if purchased on a CC, you have some protections as well over your purchase.
  • Lastly, Lowe's has the deal in CO store for $489.

To OP, have you actually done this and bought the mower? I understand this can be good in THEORY, but how about in practice... Either way, this only gets rid of point two.

EDIT: Googled around a bit and looks like people have had sucess using double digit plus # of gift cards IN STORE, limit is like 3 for app and/or online. I still stand by my statements.

I bought it at Lowe's for $600 and returned the extra battery. Got $180 back making the price of the mower effectively $420. Much easier than dealing with gift cards.
