Good price for 2-ton unit. I installed the 1-ton ($400) in my garage last year with detailed DIY video. Works great so far. https://youtu.be/IPlJrxOocC0?
installed the 24k unit from the last time this deal was posted.
Outdoor unit was a little damaged but still functional they knocked off $50.
Main complaint is no template for mounting the indoor unit and drilling the hole.
Also the instructions aren't the best but with the help of YouTube I got it installed and running for the past two weeks.
This 2 ton unit on a van - are you trying to build a mobile meat locker? 6k BTU might be more appropriate.

What amp breaker did you use? I installed 30amp but I think 20amp would've worked

Pre charged and all? Did you need the gauges from harbor freight or borrow them somewhere

Yeah 11.6 amp based on wattage so two of them would be 23.2A which is just short of 80% of 30A circuit Smilie

I did a 25amp, as the panel on the outdoor unit said that was the max permissible fuse.

Anybody have DIY experience mounting and installing one of these in an RV or Sprinter, using shorepower?

all mini-split systems will typically be pre-charged, I've never seen one that wasn't. However, the line set usually needs to be vacuumed with a vacuum pump and tested for leaks if possible before releasing the charge from the sealed unit.

I put one in a larger boat and the hardest part was finding a flush area to mount the indoor handler and making the holes for everything. It's really really simple wiring.

Only 220v left and that's not typical for RV generators or even shore power.
