Nice try at camouflaging, Cosmo and Wanda.
If you don't need the separate mic input you should get the Apple USB-C DAC dongle.

If you want a world-class USB to audio DAC dongle (no mic), get this instead for $24:

If this adapter is not a good choice, what would you recommend for a EPOS PC38x to Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra? I would appreciate your insight.
This is a DAC. Think I read the audiophile community like the Apple usbc to 3.5 cable is excellent. Not sure if it can be used on andriod. You could get a headphone amp and a DAC run into your phone with USBC . It would be bigger though.

By Being a DAC Dongle with (no mic, I'm assuming people use the mic to narrate or record vocals for music), is the one you reference much better quality and will not fall apart in a couple of months?

Agreed. I had a cheap external DAC marketed for studio use, that didn't sound as clear as the cheap Apple dongle for a fraction of the price.

Unless you need the mic input, I'd go the Apple route, which works with Windows and Linux btw. Otherwise, the Sabrent would probably be okay for most purposes.

I think the Apple one is just an adapter. This is essentially a USB sound card.
Nope. It's a full-blown DAC built into the cable, that rival most other DACs under $100 in terms of sound quality, and some over that price point oddly enough.

The only real downside is it only has a 3.5mm headphone output, so if you need more you're SOL and will need to go another (more expensive) route. And it only goes up to 48Hz at 24bit, rather than 96-192Hz like other dedicated DACs, although it's unlikely you'll notice the difference. The cheap 'studio grade' DAC I had technically went up to 96Hz and didn't sound nearly as good. Granted, it was a crappy Behringer device so I should have known what I was getting at the time.

Further reading: The $9 Apple USB-C to 3.5mm adapter performs on par with many audiophile DACs. How is this possible?... [reddit.com]

I'm so confused right now. Are peeps still using wired headphones? What's next to comeback 80s shoulder boomboxes?

Says it supports Android so this could be a solution to the anti-anti-headphone jack crowds.
