Samsung's "Super-Fast Charge" depends on the device. The newer Ultra phones have "Super-Fast Charge 2.0", which is 45 watts. The regular Galaxy phones have 1.0, which is 25 watts. Samsung phones (and Apple, and many other manufacturers) require PPS to fast charge, which this charger doesn't have. This charger won't charge most modern phones any higher than 15 watts.

2 to 2.5 times faster. I only need 15 to 20 minutes to top off my phone.

You're gullible and didn't keep with with the news/blogs. Even recently, it's a 10% or so difference, a matter of minutes, and your lifestyle ain't that important: https://www.androidauthority.com/...w-3280776/

Says 10% then proceeds to link an article showing is more than a 20% difference between superfast 1.0 and 2.0, and a 20% difference between superfast 2.0 and pd 18w.

Does not support Super Fast Charge and Warp Charge

When 2 USB-C ports are in use : 20W + 20W = 40W
When 2 USB-A ports are in use: 12W + 12W = 24W
When 1 USB-C port + 1 USB-A port are in use: 45W(USB-C) + 18W(USB-A) = 63W
When 1 USB-C port + 2 USB-A ports are in use: 45W(USB-C) + 10W(USB-A) + 10W(USB-A) = 65W
When 2 USB-C ports + 1 USB-A port are in use: 20W(USB-C) + 20W(USB-C) + 12W(USB-A) =52W
When All 4 ports are in use: 20W(USB-C) + 20W(USB-C) + 12W(USB-A) + 12W(USB-A) = 64W
warp charge? isn't that supported by like one phone?

Maybe 5 or 10 years ago when some people still needed 2xUSB-A ports.
Vape, desk vacuum, various flashlights, etc. Still lots that will only charge from a usb-a port. I've tried a usb-c to usb-a cable on usb-c ports and they will not charge those devices. I think it has to do with the low voltage requirements.

I think the point is, these are all nominal differences, and PD (being a universal standard) is the basket where I'd put all my eggs. No doubt Samsung is unkind about licensing their proprietary tech too -- I'm sure they want a piece of every transaction.

The problem is PD isn't that universal when it comes to max speed charging and phones. Samsung just calls it fastcharge but it is really PPS which is a standard and something other phones like the Pixel series rely on for max charging speed. At this point PD is the bare minimum, but is still pretty limited depending on how may pd profiles it has. PPS is an entire range and leads to much more compatibility.

OK, reasonable point there, Pixel is a large market segment too. I hope that PPS isn't limited/hampered by licensing fees and is an open standard compared to PD.

Haven't heard about licensing (could be though), but I am sure it adds complexity and cost to products. The very annoying part is companies like baseus advertise pps, support pps (to some degree), but don't list the pps volt/amp range so it's only partially compatible with pixel pps for example. Pixel wants 19v for its highest power pull on pps, but lots of pps bricks don't provide that.

PPS is part of PD. It's another optional part of PD.
