I own the older version of this drone and I'm a big fan of these. They are much easier for travel and quick selfie videos. DJI created the DJI Neo after seeing their success

I have had one of these for a few months and it's a pretty cool drone. Fits a different niche and purpose versus the typical DJI drones. Its more designed for "follow you" action with autonomous control versus more longer range cinematic type of stuff from DJI platforms using a controller.

If it gets out of range, does it have the ability to automatically return to the launch pad?

How high can this fly? How to take photos without a controller? Worry about 16m of flight time as well. Very tempted though. Been looking at this for a while now.

The reason the comments section is so smug is because DJI drone pilots always 'look down' on everyone else
Hopefully that joke doesn't fly over people's heads

pretty easy for a drone to get "out of range", I could see my drone as it wasnt that far but something blocked the signal so my remote stopped communicating with it. Its a valid question what will it do.

Most Drone flight times are in the range of 15~30 minutes. YES there are drones that can go longer, but in this general size, thats not uncommon.
