I see the White (3-pack) XL size as $11.71
Nonetheless, both Gildan shirts you mention run quite a bit boxy fwiw. I stay away from Gildan now. Kirkland signature cotton tees are great, just a bit long..
No such thing as too long when it comes to undershirts!
I'm 6'3", Costco Ts are too long, it looks sloppy when they show through at the bottom underneath jerseys.
