Does this deal pop up right when you click cancel subscription under settings > account > manage? Or after you click the cancellation button and start the process?

I use it to improve my writing, such as performance reports, award submissions, proposal packages, etc. I ask it to take on the role of curriculum developer and rewrite elements of coursework. I ask it to consolidate information from many sources, i.e. do research - mostly then going to the sources it found myself and doing my own research. I ask it to create scenarios to use in testing things. I never use anything it comes up with directly, rather I treat what it came up with as if I had a person review what I did and those are their suggestions.

I use it for grammar review at work. Better than asking someone else as a small favor. Heck cost me nothing to use it lol

This discount was also posted 3 weeks ago — https://slickdeals.net/f/18382855-chatgpt-plus-50-off-ymmv-maybe-free-cancel-subscription-ai. If you have any questions or want to hear more success & failure stories (didn't work for me), there's 100+ comments on that thread.

Analyzing spreadsheets for errors and improvements. Summarizing and pointing out any out of the ordinary language in terms & conditions. Sometimes I just talk to it while driving. **Comparing products** - underrated use with logic to narrow down searches -- example was looking for yard tool eco system, comparing different brands, overall pricing for everything I need, and factoring in the few tools I own. Cooking without just getting links to ad riddled recipes or articles --- How do I cook these oval hash browns in an air fryer? Researching items of interest on FB marketplace. Running Monte Carlo simulations of portfolio performance. If you never have, download one -- like Grok on your phone and ask it the same question.

Spend $0, make $60. Wait that isn't how it works.
I'm unfortunately having difficulty explaining this to you. Maybe ask ChatGPT plus for an explanation. This thread has a convenient discount code where you save $30.

There are myriad use cases, but the one that had my Wife happy with me paying for the sub was when we input her stepdad's complex health issues and medical records, then ChatGPT analyzed and recommended additional tests, which (credit to the doctor she readily acknowledged) and it ended up saving his life. So - as a medical second opinion it is great. Especially the more advanced models.

No luck on the $200/mo tier. Will try on the lower tier later. Thanks OP

What's the benefit of paying for the service over using the free version?

Didn't work for me. Just cancelled.

For those who had it work for them - how *exactly* did you cancel? I went through web site, settings, manage, cancel. It just cancelled. None of the "are you sure?"

so which one doesn't?
