why would you pay $4800 for an additional two years of warranty when you can buy the Integra for $570

and on another note I bought the Cinema 30 for FAR less than $4800...
A fraction of actually

I wouldn't & the Integra doesn't offer DLBC.

I'm willing to bet you didn't pay $2025 for it.
You definitely didn't pay the refurb price of $1399 the 50 recently hit!

We definitely know you didn't pay $570!

I willing to bet ,while looking at the receipt, that I paid LOT less than $2025 for the Cinema 30

IMO, one would be a little crazy to not pay slightly more for the Cinema 30 than the Cinema 50 refurb
Especially when the 30 was not a refurb and came with the 5 year warranty versus the 1 year of the Cinema 50 you are mentioning
A complete other ball game

But as you said before
if you are buying an AVR and on a budget its hard to beat 9.2 and Dirac, along with a 5 year warranty for $570

Ok bet is on post this receipt that shows what you paid for a brand new 30 from an authorized dealer… we will wait!!!

Actually what I've said:
if Dirac Live was a priority and only needed 9 channels the Integra is probably the best buy.

Who is WE..LOL?
I really dont think anyone is questioning anything I said I have purchased

In this thread..post #228 I originally posted that receipt for the Cinema 30

https://slickdeals.net/f/18295039-kef-r5-meta-and-others-open-box-blowout-at-select-magnolia-best-buy-huge-ymmv-605?v=1&page=16&src=SiteSearch&prop=&attrsrc=

Also bought multiple Kef Metas, Marantz Cinema 40( that might get returned)..Denon X4800( already pulled out of service since it seems to replicate the Onkyo RZ50 performance to my ears)

lol oh the open/floor YMMV buy!

If that's the case imo the 3800 for $679 would be a heck of a lot better buy than the Integra imo.
Especially since it has access to DLBC and soon to ART….. no brainer imo!

LOL and with a 5 year factory warranty

Its funny that you mention parameters that you always say " no one is interested in"
I dont think that is the case...but I assume you are speaking for people that you and are in your circle

There are many here and AVS forum as well that bought and are demoing pieces from this

I didnt try a X3800

I did try an X4800( at $980) and frankly it seemed to be about the equivalent of the Onkyo RZ50 installed in my own home with my own speakers and source material
So that is gone...and like I said the Cinema 40 is on the fence as well

I am going to keep the Cinema 30 though...I do hear higher performance than the Onkyo RZ50

That is your opinion on the Integra 3.4 versus Denon X3800
I dont personally own either one

I can only speak for the Denon X4800 versus the Onkyo RZ50... and my opinion, for my specific use was that they were about the same sonically

lol this started because you misspoke insinuating Denon/Marantz owners needed to pay "$800" to get the "standard" Dirac that this includes at "no cost".
This isn't the 1st time that you misspoke about this & was corrected.🤔

You've raved about how great "Dirac" is "sonically "over Audyssey , so much so you deem Integra a best buy because of it.
Yet $100 more to have access to all of "Dirac's" RCs(DL,DLBC,ART) isn't beneficial because of 2 years extra warranty. 🤔
Luckily you don't need to pay for Dirac because of A1EVO, not just my opinion, plenty of rave reviews over on AVS!
Somehow you always claim to miss them. 🤔
Doesn't seem you hold much value to the rest of "Dirac" other than the "standard" one.

Anyways let's get back on track and stop talking about Cinema 30/40.

LOL...a lot of assumptions there...some even wilder than others..Wink

I find it interesting that you say " no one is interested in DLBC"..
I guess that is within the people you know?

I cant say that is what I see

We also have that blind comparison with AV professionals with where, as you know Audyssey didnt do too well....

A 5 year warranty is not a negative thing. I have to say everything connected in my home right now came with a 5 year warranty pre/pro and AVR wise

But anyway ..getting back to the Onkyo RZ50
Its a great unit that I personally owned
Sonically it was a big improvement to my ears over the Marantz 7015 that it replaced

I suggest any one interested read the AVS forum thread from actual owners . Many of whom bought the unit( or the 7100) when it was first rolled out in 2021
I would say they are very satisfied..even those that paid full MSRP in 2021

lol I quoted you, you can correct any assumptions you made.

Still waiting for that blind comparison with AV professionals between Dirac and A1EVO! 🤔

Hmm looking through that link/thread there is very little interest in DLBC if at all, almost all say incremental improvement not worth the cost!

It's the same with the RZ70/LX805 threads also.

If I recall you have said several times, why would someone pay for Dirac on a $1k AVR!

If I recall the 30 makes 5 AVRs(including RZ70 & LX805) with DLBC access that you own, only 1 benefits from DLBC!

Why is it not a benefit for the other 4?
Never mind you won't answer that, you rather us assume! 🤔

I posted the Denon/Marantz having 20% off all Dirac licenses until June 30th, one comment and it's negative!

We must be reading different post, would you provide any where at least some people are interested in DLBC?

If you don't need the extra two channels, I would agree that the Integra is probably the better option.

I mean, 9.2 is pretty great, I guess expanding to 11.2 is what some people want so I suppose you have a point.

Yes 9 channels is optimal in the average home in my experience.

Unless you needed to expand, there isn't much more advantage to this over the Integra imo.

This even has the same mono sub outs as the Integra.
