Probably not. While a display model could go open item, returns do too and where a store might have 1-2 display models of a certain model ever, they will likely have over 100 returns of that same model, during it's run. Most returns are in a 15-30 day return policy window. Also open items come with the same MFG warranty that new ones come with and being 65", the warranty repair would be in-house repair without you sending it out.
Regardless, check the TV settings to see power on hours after you get it. That will let you know.

Out of stock for my area… was about to say after all these years waiting, I pulled the trigger on the panosonic, only for lg to finally have a decent sale on oiled 😂
