How's the hinge holding up on these? I was hearing reports that it would make creaking sounds when users fold and open up the screen due to weaker tolerance, resulting in the hinge potentially breaking.

RGC on YT says the v2 was upgrade to a full metal hinge. Sounds like better durability but doesn't mention how long.

Is this the cheapest (including tarrifs) RK3566 right now? That's what I've been holding off for.

FYI, this doesn't have Bluetooth. Keep that in mind if you have any Bluetooth controllers.

I have both. I thought for sure I'd switch to this because it was less bulky, but the custom firmware options for the RG35XX are so much better IMO, so I'm still using the RG35XX

The Grey plastic they used was too soft and letting the metal hinge grind until failure.

Not really issues with the white or black versions from what i understand.

34xxsp is nicer but only 3.4 inch and 3:2 ratio.

I almost closed out the order I had in my cart after reading your comment. Then I actually looked it up. Russ on retro gamer confirms it has Bluetooth and works with controllers.

For this price, I'm getting this to add to my Flip 2- this is a perfect little pocket device with Analog sticks for only $50. Russ's only big issue was that this was selling for about $80.

The gray models are 90% sure to fail, regardless of version

The black models seems to be fine, haven't seen one break yet
