They are very positionally dependent. They're also very power hungry.
But, if you can wear them comfortably, they are a 10/10 set and grossly underappreciated.
I really don't know why Grell doesn't update the headband to fit all head sizes, it's truly the only thing holding them back. I think if more people could "find their sweetspot" with them, it would be unanimous praise.
I am not one of the fortunates that fite the band.... I slapped a suspension band from an old pair of hifiman's on them (took full disassembly and some jury rigging which I don't think anyone should have to do at this pricepoint), but once you can fully seat them around your ears and slide them back a bit so that the driver is closer to you..... they come alive.
