Completely different product line. Home Depot is JA Henckels International (one stick figure on the logo) and the OP is Zwilling (2 stick figures in the logo). The 1 stick figure knives are mostly junk you'll throw out after 6 months.

Sure, no problem. I was excited for a moment because that price range is for like just two knives in the Pro series…would've been a steal for a small set. Had to look up the Gourmet series to confirm that's what it was. Looks like a neat set, still.

These are Zwilling, but both are manufactured under the parent company Zwilling. These are a more premium knife. Henckels are usually made in China, India, Spain with different metals. ZWILLING are normally German made with higher grade steel.

German made knives usually are well known for sharpness and well made metal to retain that sharpness. Usually they are made with good weight so it feels good in the hands. I think you cannot go wrong as a first set.
