I picked one up from Walmart a week or two ago for $25.
Edit: I don't believe mine is the attachment set, just the controller, but I haven't opened it yet.

It is not wireless. They have no wireless functionality nor internal batteries.
With that said, This is easily the best purchase I've made for my Switch for mobile gaming, which is my primary use.
I think I have normal sized adult hands, and after 20-30m with the JoyCons my hands begin to ache. (Unfortunately, it's the same with the S2).
If I play on the TV, it's the Pro controller (anyone else playing with me: kids, friends, etc get joycons or wired controllers). If it's mobile, I prefer this over the Satisfye grip I also purchased.
When I initially purchased this back in the day, they did not offer the "wired holder" to make the two controller pieces a normal wired controller. That's pretty interesting... but I'd still prefer the Pro controller.
