Pelican's liability under this warranty is limited to the case and not its contents. What it really means is — no matter how much they advertise it as waterproof or drop-proof, if it breaks, the most they'll do is give you a new case. They're not responsible for anything inside."

Every time this goes on sale I'm put off by the multiple reports of cards falling out.

Only the microSD cards sometimes fall out. If you also carry SD cards in the same case, which I'm assuming most people will do, just put the SD card on top of the microSD and it'll stay put.

That was my thought. Haven't seen one of those in years. Hence the price but I'll buy I'll bite. I only really need SD.

I used this for a couple years and I'm not a fan. Sd cards are fragile and you damage them a little bit everytime you pull one out of this. And if you ever drop it, it will open up and send your cards flying everywhere. Mine was still in perfect shape but I replaced it with a folding fabric case for those reasons.

Or just hold the microSD using the standard SD-sized adapters, that's what I do just to make keeping track of them easier.

Here's an alternative option that is a more narrow and compact profile and holds up to 10 SD cards, 27 micro SD cards, and 2 SIM cards. Also cheaper at $7.54.

There's also these credit cards sized ones, which have various capacities depending on which design you choose. There's one for 4 SD cards, one for 10 micro SD cards, or a combo one for 2 SD cards and 4 micro SD cards. They're ~ $2.20 each. I personally like these ones for how slim and compact they are.

Or if you're dead set on the Pelican style, there's this one with a better design (so cards don't fall out) that holds 12 SD cards and 24 micro SD cards. Also cheaper at $8.54.
https://www.aliexpress.us/item/22...37530.html

I've used all of these at one point or another and never had issues with the cards falling out on any of them.

Free shipping if you spend at least $10.
