Got the flex head version for 37.xx after sales tax, will see how good it is.
Me too. Took me like 3 or 4 tries manually entering the code but it finally went through.

Had to manually search to find the flex head one. But find it I did, and the coupon worked. At checkout it said it was almost sold out.
Same here. (flex head is 22-piece, non flex is 23 and $2 less).

Not sure it's a scam...just a poorly designed and maintained site. if you click around enough you can get the flex for about $2 more. I've not used Ali Express before, but the site is full of bugs and made me feel uneasy to use it at all. I only used Paypal...no way I'm putting a card on that site.

Wrong, it's not a site issue, they swapped the URL after it reached SDs front page

I believe its called a "bait and switch" or a "hoodwink".

The term "scam" seems to be overused and applied to any deceptive business practice today and used by my entire family and friends.

Typically scams and scammers intentions are to deceive and exploit for financial gain while never delivering any products or services. Literally stealing your money.

a "bait and switch" or a "hoodwink" they trick you into buying a different product or service, maybe inferior or a superior product (at a higher price). BUT the difference is that they actually deliver a product or service.

I may be wrong. Maybe what I'm thinking is "fake news"....

Maybe we're close to 1984 with all this double speak crap.
Sorry for not using the correct vernacular, maybe next time you won't have to write an essay about it and use that effort to actually provide value by posting deals here instead of giving English lessons.
You spent 6 years here, posted zero deals, your comments just involve correcting others on English and conspiracy theories and you don't even have the decency to upvote or even downvote deals to help others find deals, except the 3 times you did during your 6 years here, basically a lurker that can't even help SDers by voting which is the bare minimum.
Yes, swapping urls for a different product once the deal went front page is "scammy".

Anyone have any recommendations? I am in the market for a wrench set to have around the house. I am only going to buy 1 set. Do you guys recommend fixed or the flex? The flex seems nicer to have. Thanks in advance.

The amount of people that are loosing it over the "flex head" astounds me. lol there's but a few trades that I can think of that would regularly need the "flex head" otherwise 40 bucks for an SAE and Metric RATCHETING set is a fantastic deal. Good find OP.
