For people saying this isn't a deal, you will not get this kind of performance while keeping the SD cool with a cheap $20 enclosure on Amazon. I tried, they disconnect, they run the SD very hot or they only give you a fraction of the 40GB/s speed. You get what you pay for with this device.

this is the original way to expand mac mini m4 before people making replaceable ssd. but when the SSD came out, they advertised SSD is better and doing this way has disconnect issues and sometimes won't boot up with external device, do you know it's because of people using the cheaper $20 devices? or this OWC has the same issue too?
I still haven't upgrade my Mac mini m4 due to the crazy price of the replacement SSD going up crazy due to the tarrifs
