I've owned the Jisulife brands i got from Costco some 3yrs ago, and both are still going strong. Costco sold a combo pack for $30.

Have bought and used these neck fans in the past, overall thoughts: lightweight, decent battery life however very, very weak airflow (usually non-directional) and only quiet on the lowest settings. Pretty much useless and I live in Vegas with triple digit temp summers

Same. Bought them specifically for a trip to Disney to make the waits in line less miserable. It's certainly not A/c, but dramatically more comfortable than just standing there in the sun sweating. Considering all the goofy shit people wear in the parks you don't even need to worry about aesthetics, you blend right in.

I actually just started using a neck fan yesterday. I'm a quadriplegic and cannot thermoregulate… Basically I don't sweat. No doubt I'd welcome a more powerful fan, but even the relatively weak breeze is very welcome in enabling me to be outside in the summer heat wave that is hitting the Northeast right now. Game changer, and unexpectedly my favorite Christmas present (seemed silly in December but I love it now!)!

I have a similar neckfan however the one I have has a cooling metal bar in the back of your neck that helps keep you much cooler along with the fan. I've worn it in vegas during peak summer and while its super hot outside it kept my body temp much cooler. It does make you look silly but you're cooler than everyone else. šŸ˜Ž
can i see a link to that?

there are no tariffs and prices are stable as always.

Wore a similar pair in the blazing heat of a Italy last summer. Only complaint was the chaffing on a bare neck.

Bought the Target $10 one in an emergency when my Jesulyfe (or whatever it's called) finally broke after about 3-4 years (the fan pods came detached from the flexible middle area). Other than the micro-USB charging kick in the nuts, it has provided a good amount of cooling and is 80% as good as the Jesulife for probably 50% of the price.

That being said, these things work best around the house. If you're in 90-degree heat wearing one, it's slightly better than having it, but not a vast improvement.

I usually wear mine in the morning, because I have an affinity for way too hot showers, and then I can't cool down when I get out, and I immediately start sweating. I towel off and wear the neck fan while I get ready, and I'm able to cool off in 10 minutes, versus sweating for an hour after showering.

I have one of these that I got like five years ago, probably not this brand… Has the technology improved so much that I should consider looking at a new one?

$26.99 in my store. FYI, get the Costco app, and on the homepage of it, in the icons along the bottom, you'll see "Warehouse tools." This takes you to a search bar for any warehouse you choose (I have my local saved, but can change it to nearby ones if I'm trying to see what's in stock or compare prices on clearance items locally). That lets you know what's in stock and the in-store price at any given Costco.
Got it Thanks much!
