Has anyone used these? I ordered them because I want to get rid of my black plastic utensils but I'm wondering how thick the silicone is at the tips of the spatulas.

Silicone when used in a heat setting is not suppose to be good. I would stick with just using stainless steel and wood tools in a heat situation. Do your own research on silicon but use a different search engine than Google when researching.

i was wondering that too, but you can always order, it check it, not happy then return it!
it seems a really good deal!

if I owned a rental property, this would be a good kitchen product that I don't have to care too much for it!

I would not buy these. The silicone is applied in places that look like it will easily tear or break off. Go full silicone instead.

Why does it say "Protect your favorite non-stick pan from scratches" but very clearly show it being used with a Stainless Steel pan?

Swap to cast iron and you'll never have to worry about using toxic silicone or scratching your pans

For rental properties, like vacation rentals ( I have 2) , you don't go too cheap or too expensive. Too cheap, people will feel like they're in a cheap rental. Too expensive, they'll steal it. Kind of middle of the road like Cuisinart quality. This will work. One thing to consider is if you have non-stick cookware, metal utensils will scratch the pans. I recommend stainless steel pots & pan set ($125) and a mix of wood and stainless mid-level quality utensils.

Can someone explain about why silicon isn't good for cookware utensils that touch hot surfaces? I thought the black non stick plastic is worse? or is it this set in particular because of weird silicone lip on top of the stainless steel?

The big paper that sparked a bunch of concern contained a math error.

bacteria will love living between the silicone and SS then disperse into you food every time you used the utensil
