To verify if the card was added successfully, go to your Ebay Account Settings/Payments [ebay.com] and check the Gift Cards pane below (somewhere on the first 1/3 of the screen). It should show the complete Gift Card amount.

Yep, showing on my Gift Cards section, no problem

Tried to buy another $200. Yes, I noticed, it said $20 max but I just had to try . The amount was showing on the checkout page as $180 but after I hit Place Order, it charged full $200 on my credit card. Now need to figure out how to request it back

Is there way to check gift card balance without adding to an account. eBay used to allow it before but I don't see that option anymore.

Tried four times. First time my card marked it as fraud and declined. After approving it, the second and third time also got immediate declined emails. Then I read gamingdroid's post and tried a fourth time with a period in the middle of my email. Still got declined.
I was only attempting $100 for all of these.

Took me 4 tries and finally went through, had to go to my email and approve transaction and credit card company said to try again. Got confirmation immediately after it went through and gift card in acct about a minute later.

Now for those who graduated summa cum laude, at $180 spent for $200 value, what is the xx% bonus and the xx% discount? And where will trains meet if one leaves westbound from Philadelphia and another leaves eastbound from St. Louis, traveling 50 mph and 40 mph, respectively?

We weren't able to process your order xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. All pending charges will be released within 5-7 business days. You can try again with a different payment method.

I used Discover Card that I've used to buy GC from Kroger with no issues. I even got an alert by text from Discover stating that "A purchase for $180 was made online..."

made 4 attempts on 1 card, all declined. Even after bank reached out to confirmed after 1st was flagged for fraud alert. Logged into bank and see SEVEN pending transactions, this is a joke of a scam

Extra 5% is nice but if they are going to decline, why bother
