An especially cool software included for scanned images is Xerox Workflow Central, allowing you to convert documents into other languages, change handwritten messages into shareable text documents, create audio files of hardcopy to listen to on the go, automatically redact content, and convert scans into Microsoft Office Applications

Compatible with inexpensive generic toner?

I see that this printer is Apple Airprint compatible. Is it similarly easy to use with Android phones?

Xerox is terrible at maintaining Mac OS support in my experience. Had WorkCentre that was fine for two years (and worked with generic toner) but then scanning driver support started lagging 6-9 months behind MacOS updates.. then after two years of that, no more support (or scanning functionality at all) and then more recently, just trying to print via WiFi/airprint/USB had necessitated jury rigging and work arounds constantly. Just junked it and got a Canon MFP.

Mine had multiple issues:

- it shipped with an EU power cable. Had to go dig around for a spare, 6 ft. long US type A, 3 prong cable.
- printer kept spitting out a generic 121 Error (Unplug the printer then plug it back in). Digging into the error, it seems Xerox doesn't like surge protectors, even expensive APC units. So it works, but only when plugged directly into the wall socket. Sure hope I don't get a power surge.
- standard letter sized paper doesn't fit in the bottom tray by default and the tray has to be stretched out using a blue tab buried near the back
- Windows 11 Scan app will not recognize the scanner, but printing works fine

You have to install the Xerox print and scan experience, to use all the features. I also remember having trouble figuring out how to adjust paper size and mine came with a US plug.
