I'm neither a bot, nor a shill. I'm actually a human from Texas. If I were to find a Sofirn deal I'd certainly post it here. Not just to troll you, but because they are excellent flashlights (I have about 10 of them) and SD is usually were I find the deals on them.
FYI, the same thing (shrill/bot bs) could be argued about MOST of the deals posted on SD.

But, when you consider all the other sick/twisted/perverted/demonic things people could fetish over, the world would be a much better place if everyone was only super-into flashlights.
Flashlights, USB batteries, stamps, baseball cards, etc? I say "Get on with your bad self!"
And as for shilling, again, so what if someone is getting a perk/kickback on telling you about a fantastic deal (like SD does with most of them) or they are marketing or creating awareness for a company/brand by posting a fantastic deal? You're getting a fantastic deal - which is the ENTIRE PURPOSE of this forum.
Exhibit 2: This Q8+ flashlight is an amazing deal at $37. Period.
However. posting a 5% discount on a product from an unknown company purely to create awareness could certainly be considered a shill. This aint that.
Sofirn is not some unknown company. They have been around for years. They are one of the most known and thoroughly tested of brands.
If you buy an Eveready, Duracell or Energizer you are getting an unknown as you do not know what China factory they are coming from but in all cases with most name brand lights they pale in comparison to Sofirn lights, pun intended.
Sofirns and Wurkkos are made in Sofirn factories. Most all are nice. dependable and feature rich lights at almost unheard of prices. They are more equivalent to high end US makers such as Convoy and Olight. Flashlight and gear enthusiast go over every model in great detail and you can know exactly what you are getting and what features it has if you take the time to do some cursory research. They make the lists of most trusted, liked and respected brands.
Secondly this is not 5% discount. The light is $40 on amazon right now and that is supposedly with 13% off. On Sofirns site at regular price that many people paid it is $60. Even if you take AliExpress listed price of $35 it is at a minimum 50% discount. A similar light might cost you $70 and even up a bit.
In fact Sofirns are for some reason after the tariff talk being sold at ridiculously low prices and are great deals these price no matter if SD makes small cut in promoting them. Why anyone would be upset with that is beyond me. It is win win for everybody and I am not going to begrudge SD that make it available to us.
Sofirn secret agents are not here shilling. The company pays SD some percent to promote their product. Staff members post them and we are aware of it. Your local grocery store or Best Buy ad does the same. I guess you advise we should turn down the sirloin that is half off to not support shiling.
The good news is that the market power of SD has gets us discounts that can not be had anywhere else. I find it creepy you want to take that away.
We don't need you theories about how you would run SD people need information on the product and if it is a good value. You can't even do that and yet know how the world should be run.
You got yourself into psychological pathology over flashlights. You are expressing great resentment, rage and hate at extraordinary levels at other human beings that have done you or no one else any harm. All over a deal and ad for a flashlight. Please get ahold of and check yourself before you start telling us all what to do and what is right.
How much you want for your dog? No batteries needed I assume?
