I would like to know as well if it comes with a battery
mine did, and i think others said the same
I also really like their SC13 lights for carrying in my pocket.
On a sadder note, this can also be used for search & rescue. I wish I had it when an elderly friend wandered out of her house. We looked all night but back then, 900 lumens was about the top of the line and thus limited what could be searched. She was found floating the next day in a runoff pond. That was likely a once-in-a-lifetime event but I'll never be caught without a few of these beasts ever again.

All Sofirn and Wurkkos lights now come with batteries on AliExpress. They made this change about a year ago.
Can be used in power outages like a lantern and at the same time charge you cell phone in emergencies. Point it at the ceiling and the light will spread wide and light up a very large room. Dial back the power and you will have a long term light source
I thought like you did and did not think I really needed one and wanted one kind of just for novelty and whim but after having it I can definitely see many use cases. There are always time when light is needed.
Offices and workshops do not use those color temperatures as the colder light just lets you see better and in more detail.
Yes real blue harsh light gets weird looking but I only have a couple of cheapo lights that could be described like that. even some of my more generic or lower end lights that are i guess 5000K or up I have no problem with.
The 5000K & 6000K from Sofirn is even better than those and I really have no problem with and prefer it over the 4000K.
I'll keep the warm natural light for romantic dinners, naptime and wedding photos. Maybe it is my old eyes but I just see things better art 5000K and up.
