They are not same as sold at adidas stores. There is no cushion on upper side loop which holds the foot. I think that's why they are cheap also
I bought these in store and returned them. They were super slippery, and were very uncomfortable. They were cutting my feet and giving me blisters.

I bought thinking they were the same from when Costco had em years ago but there's no foam on upper and no adjustable Velcro. Still hella spongy but it's a skimpflation model of the original Costco deal

From june-september I wear them everywhere that isn't a professional or social setting. Mostly running errands, grocery shopping, grabbing the mail/paper, fishing/boating. I do prefer Nike slides over these though
