Ya the dual hoses are somewhat together and smaller footprint overall and tool-less install

Its a slightly smaller footprint ,but keep in mind that its just over 4ft tall.. I have 2, was surprised at the height since I read the dimensions

Inside the unit. To drain it you'll need to unscrew the drain cap and let it flow out. A better solution would be to get a condensation pump and let it flow to that and then out the window.

Yea generally the condensation will evaporate and be pushed out via the window hose unless you live in an extremely humid environment in which case the unit will alert you that the unit needs to be drained manually via the drain hose, this rarely occurs in most normal environments.

to me it's that the louvers are vertical and not horizontal. compared to my whynter 14,000 BTU, which is like a small bookshelf, this would be perfect for a corner in a small room. love the aesthetics.

After reading a few one and two stars reviews .
It's not really portable, weighs 80lbs so not easily movable, needs to be close to the windows, I guess the pipe length is very small too.
Keep that in mind.. Before purchasing

One dumb question. I never used this before but thinking to add this to my room because only me working at home and I don't want to turn on the AC for the whole house.
Can I use this without connecting to the hose outside and use something to collect the water? Does it save more money?

Thank you
