Seagate has the 18TB external expansion drive on sale for $229.99 -10% coupon (via email signup) for a total before taxes of $206.99. I ordered two of these a few days apart and shucked them, they contain the EXOS drive ST18000NM000J. This comes out to $11.49/TB for a brand new EXOS drive.
To get the coupon:
- Load the page in an InPrivate/Incognito window, make sure you don't have an ad blocker on.
- Accept the cookie prompt
- If the "Want 10% off pop-up doesn't show after a few seconds, reload the page. This has worked for me every time.
- When you get the popup, enter your email address.

Of course they don't! Unless, maybe they have a link that takes you to "things that NEVER happened"
They used to have iron wolf in these enclosures. My guess is you could end up with either when you shuck depending on the production month.}
What to do with all the enclosures after you shuck? I don't know, but I'm trying to get 8 drives and I'm very tempted to grab these vs. waiting for prime week or some other WD deal.
Also the 22TB may be an ironwolf pro or something, probably ok, but I don't think they make a 22TB exos.
