Great deal if you have the batteries already. They run about $200 - $300 for a 5ah battery if buying separately. Don't have feedback with toro brand battery mowers but my gas one works good 10yrs out.

$269 for the battery, $169 for the charger at Ace Hardware, or you can buy a complete setup for $629 at Ace.

I have a Toro electric mower (and other tools using the same batteries) and I've liked it for the last 3 years. As said above, the batteries are expensive so it can add up fast if you need to buy them and have backups.
If you are already in the Toro Flex battery system, it's a good mower for the price. I would just recommend having a 6ah battery.

Don't do it!!! Buyer beware! I I like Toro, but there's no way I will do any of their electrical products ever again… google Toro, 60 V battery lawnmower, and you will see a ton of upset customers that cannot get help for their batteries! They send you over to the Ace Hardware or wherever it is and they never fulfilled the orders and I had a battery sitting there for over a year until I contacted the Better Business Bureau about it

Dumb to buy this without the battery. If you already have the battery, you can get these cheap used from local sellers. Battery mowers and scooters are cheap in the used market when their battery is broken.

Got this on a clearance deal for $150ish with a battery, I wouldn't pay anymore than that and this doesn't have a battery. The cut is poor, even the cheapest gas mower cuts better than this. The batteries are expensive if you need to buy one and the tool ecosystem is kind of expensive as well.

I have a toro electric mower and I love it plus you can get a lot of the same parts for it at Toro Dealers or repair centers.

My parents have had their Toro battery powered mower for a few years now and love it. They even have the single stage snow thrower and it handles a lot of their needs very well.

I'm still using a 1999 Toro super recycler. If it ever dies I'll switch to battery-powered.

I was actually going to post this yesterday. I got all sorts of things from their sale. Pretty awesome pricing, hit a discount retailer to complete the collection (i.e. surplus store). At any rate, most of the items cost approximately as much as the battery does; so upgraded the mower and will sell my other one since the battery was essentially the same cost.

One angle on this, is that you could buy a generic battery and charger from Amazon and save more. They probably exist, and it's probably compelling. But I haven't looked up this specific mowers parts.
