All have tradeoffs and price seems to mostly reflect that.

It's a decent deal, has been down to $350 many months ago. Remember to setup a Jackery account and register it for warranty, when buying through a 3rd party (Amazon) you need to do that in order to get the full warranty they offer.

Biggest pain on this is that it has two solar inputs with limited input. Otherwise great unit! I run it 24-7 for a fridge back up.
do you run it off solor or plugged in?

Just plugged in. I have plans to add installed panels soon and have some folding panels for back up.

Yes it can. It stays charged at 100% (adjustable in the app) and runs the fridge. If the power goes out it continues as usual. Be aware that pass through will degrade battery life over time, that's why there is an option to float it at less than 100% to help with this. I've been running it a year solid and haven't seen much degradation.
The biggest caution is if you're not home and the Jackery malfunctions/runs out of power after the power goes out, it won't switch back on when power is restored if it's dead (this is true of 99% of the solar generators out there). I fixed this by adding an auto transfer switch between the fridge plug and the Jackery. I use the xantrex brand on mine but any would work. Now if the Jackery takes a dump it auto switches to home power or home power kicks in when the power returns if the battery is dead.
I have 2 of these set ups, one for my fridge and one for 2 deep freezes and it works good for me. I trust it.

Would you post a link to the Xantrex switch you are using? Thanks.

How does this compare to the Rayovac one woot has for 299?https://tools.woot.com/offers/ray...cnt_wp_0_2
I've never heard of or seen a Rayovac at any campground. Maybe they are fine, but I always call a company's c/s to see what to expect if a problem. Jackery's I see everywhere and have high ratings.

Sure, keep in mind you'll need another female plug to wire on. I like Leviton brand. You can go cheaper on the switch and plug I just wanted the peace of mind for name brand stuff since it's protecting a lot of consumables. This one is nice. It has an all metal body and thick wiring. I've bought 3 over the last few years and haven't had any problems so far. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004S5Y...in_title_1

Most household appliances are 1500W. So, if you are planning on brewing coffee, the Rayovac's 1000W AC inverter won't work.
