With a good cpu cooler mine is~ 37C on average. Peaked at 67 after hours of gaming. Only slightly higher than my previous CPU.

You are factually incorrect and spreading a lie.
  • Room temperature cucumber: ~20–22 °C
  • Refrigerated cucumber: ~4–7 °C
  • Freshly picked cucumber outdoors: matches ambient temperature, usually ~15–30 °C depending on the climate
  • Greenhouse cucumber: ~25–28 °C (if still on the vine)

Totally fair comment — on paper, 8 cores might not seem like much at $340, but the 7800X3D isn't about core count since people buy this for its GAMING performance. Thanks to the 3D V-Cache, it's one of the fastest gaming CPUs available, often outperforming CPUs with more cores in real-world gaming benchmarks.
For pure GAMING, especially at 1080p or 1440p, it offers top-tier performance with much better efficiency and lower power draw compared to higher-core-count chips. You're essentially paying for the one of the best gaming chip AMD makes right now and not just the number of cores. .
At this price, it's a great deal for anyone building a GAMING rig that doesn't need the extra cores for productivity tasks like video editing or 3D rendering. You're basically buying a Ferrari for the price of a Mustang… and sure, it's not hauling lumber or running a server farm, but it'll win the race 9 times out of 10
