Yesper is selling a 100w PD 3000a jump starter with no case on AliExpress for $35.73, $32.30 with current summer sale $4.00 of $29.00 promotion.

4000a with case option is $58.92.

Seller seems legitimate but has bouts of slow(er) shipping.

Similar same brand on Amazon listing for reference:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B1ZD811K

There are reviews and a couple actual bench tests on Amazon before people bomb my post for whatever reason without reading this.

Not sure if the pictures are wrong or what, but the Amazon links shows the unit to have pre heat built-in in the description and the pictures. The Aliexpress link doesn't mention the pre heat function and the pictures of the unit lack the pre heat description. It is a good deal already but would be an awesome deal if it includes pre heat tech.

Are these safe to keep in the car in the summer? With temperatures are as high as 100+, I assume it gets higher inside the vehicle

I'd presume as with any lesser known decent brands such as AstroAI, Avapow, etc. it will always be a gamble.

I can say, however, that I've had a Avapow battery jump in a 100° F trunk, and it did not, in fact, catch fire.

Yesper appears to be the same quality as those brands for build quality.

Hope that helps.

It's possible with these kind of batteries. If storing in a hot car long term, A safer alternative would be one with a lithium iron phosphate battery (LiFePO4)

Or a super capacitor jump starter

As a follow-up, I did receive mine (the one without the case), and it did in-fact mention preheating for cold weather by holding down the boost button 1-2s for cold weather down to -40C.

As an update, Ireceived the jump starter, 100w pd in/out did in fact work. Battery capacity seems good as well, jumped my dead Chevy Impala V6 3.6L with a old battery and has about 87% left

Thanks for the update. I'll go ahead and order one myself now.

Also I'm surprised how fast you received yours

Me too actually! They shipped almost 5 days later but arrived one day after that via FedEx.

Good deal, but now I saw the 240Wh one on Amazon and now that is all I want. What a device. It could run a 12v fridge while the car is not running.

I sometime use my Jump Starter the same way but in this case you might want to rethink that strategy for the Yesper model you mention. That 240wh unit was actually on sale 2 weeks ago for $50.

Most of these models with DC output will timeout after a minute or so without power draw (ie when the 12v fridge is between cycle).

You cannot use the Jumper Port output to power the fridge either as the protection circuit is built inside the unit itself and not the jumper cable. Which means the jumper port output will also time out and there is no way to bypass that timeout.

So unless you are sure the DC output port does not timeout then that Yesper 240wh unit will not work with a 12v fridge.

The manual that covers multiple models. Does your UNIT show the snowflake and heat icon next to "armor"?
