Almost all OLED displays on laptops are glossy unless they're the top-of-the-line ThinkPads or other such lineups of other brands. Anti-glare on an OLED defeats the whole purpose of it being an OLED. Plus, a gaming laptop doesn't necessitate an OLED display to be anti-glare. This is nothing new.

Why do nearly all of them skimp out on the USB A ports being 5Gbps versus the Gen 2 10 Gbps type ?

Are they expensive ?

From Lenovo's website on model number 83LY0000US, it shows another SO-DIMM slot for ram and another M.2 slot for storage.

I feel like this is a pretty good deal, been watching the Lenovo Legions and for some reason they command a premium compared to some of the other laptop manufacturers. The only con, to me, is 15.1" screen, but some could spin it as a plus for being smaller. You could also argue this isn't as premium as the 7i pro. Would have preferred something bigger though.
Sure it's no 4070/5070, that we like to see for ~$1100 but everything for me gets ticked that I want (minus speaker as good as Zephyrus).
+OLED, > 120hz, 1+ additional RAM & M2 Slot, WiFi7, HDMI 2.1, Above Average CPU, latest Average GPU

Based on the Lenovo [lenovo.com], you could add up to 64GB RAM and extra slot (left side) for NVME.

Great laptop, I think only minor drawback is that there's no USB 4 or thunderbolt but I don't think that matters for most people

Not a bad deal but strange that Lenovo is combining latest gen GPU with a previous gen CPU.

You can only its available in a store nearby, its sold out online.

I am not sure if the deal was available online when the OP posted but they should have put that in bold letters if it was
