I have 3 of these 1.6gpf variants at my home for about a year now, only 1 clog so far, the claimed non stick properties are also a lie.
Great toilet. I put this thing through hell twice a day every day, and all day on National Taco day.
i've never sat on a tall toilet until a month ago at the industial complex for my industrial garages. they replaced the toilet with a tall one. that was a weird feeling. got used to it. not a biggie. it's really designed to help the elderly and those with injuries get on and off easier. it's standard commericial code for my area now.

Is this super tall like half of the toilets in America? I can't even crap with my heels on the ground
heels on the ground would be incorrect body dynamics

They have a display model in store you can test before buying to see if you like it
Krack, that is actually done at better plumbing supply houses

Love my Toto toilets. Haven't had to clear my in-laws clogging up my toilets since switching them out for Toto. Worth it.

What is your thought on the other one listed on Costco.com: TOTO Eco UltraMax 1 Piece Elongated Toilet?

I have this Toto Drake in 1.28 GPF and 1.6 GPF. The 1.6 flushes a little better. There are sites where you can get the 1.6 GPF even if you live in a restricted state like California

You'll need a contractor to lie for you when you sell your home or replace with 1.2

26 rental properties, we have tried all types of toilets and brands. Our #1 pick is the American Standard Champion #4 from Lowe's. They are cheap, usually around $199 and they flush strong and just have minimal problems, even with nasty tenants that flush stuff down a toilet they aren't supposed to. I had to kick a lady out for flushing diapers after I told her to stop. Another guy was flushing condoms down the toilet, like a lot, way more than any normal person would use, and he jammed up a new septic system. I could go on and on, but beech, I've seen it all, and that is my toiletnof choice for taking abuse.

Do y'all really take colossal turds that frequently clog the toilet? I've never had a toilet clog in my life.

I'm trying to decide between the two sizes.

What do you mean by better? Do you have to double flush the 1.28, does 1.28 clog more, does the 1.6 stay cleaner.

This is widely regarded as one of the best toilets, are you a bot? If you are being real, plumbers probably say maintenance is horrendous because they never have to perform maintenance and never get hired. It is quite literally the simplest design for a toilet with a removable water reservoir. The flush mechanism is completely replaceable, the toilet is super easy to install, you can visually see how the waste pipe bends. Please provide one piece of evidence about why this toilet is hard to service for a plumber.

For people who have the 1.28 GPF any issues with them clogging? Or not self cleaning due to the reduced water volume?

As someone who owns about 40 toilets, the cheap Lowe's Project Source is a beast. This one is bougie.

I understand ToTo is a premium brand, and premium products typically use better materials and are made with better craftsmanship to justify their premium price. But porcelain is porcelain and toilet is toilet with very little complexity and moving parts. I can't even tell a ToTo toilet from any other by appearance. So what makes ToTo toilets worth hundreds more than American Standard or even Kohler?

Toto Drake is legendary for being clog proof. Nothing else comes close. I switched all of my bathrooms to these two years ago and haven't needed a plunger once, even with guests and parties.

It would be great if it comes with a bidet seat.
