What are the better brands of washer/dryers from Costco?
Front load or top load? LG, Electrolux or GE; LG tops the Consumer reports front load and top load list; Electrolux as the runner-up in the Front load. Saw similar listing at Wirecutter as well. Just note that Consumer reports and Wirecutters ratings are based on an overall score where reliability is one of the factors, not the only factor. Costco doesn't sell Speed queen which will top front and top loads otherwise.

Their site is down, can't even look for appliances and even if page loads, add to cart doesn't work
Yeah, it has been acting up today and is totally down now. You see the "Site Temporarily Unavailable" message now. Looks like we broke it😅

Yup lol. I was stupid enough to buy a Samsung package when I moved into my new house.Every single one has had an issueBig Grinishwasher: flooded my hardwood floors in my kitchen after second use (kudos to Samsung for actually giving me $12,000 to repair the damage).Oven: gas igniter took a crap after only having it for a few years. Bought a replacement part off Amazon and fixed myself.Microwave: the latch broke necessitating me to take the trim off the inside of the door and just hook the tensioner to a piece of metal on the frame instead of the cheap plastic piece it had been connected to and broke.Fridge: stopped making ice and the tech said it was a manufacturing defect and they resealed the box inside the fridge. They did that out of warranty too, I suspect because of the class action suit against them. Absolute junk appliances lol
Thats pretty bad. Could you share the models for each?

Seems like it works out to a pretty good deal for the LG fridge. In order to get that deal you also have to buy the smaller single door fridge for $349. I'm wondering if that has any resale value as brand new. Think I could get $300 for it locally or something?

I bought a new lg fridge and washer dryer last month on with this bundle, ended up getting $800 off. After my delivery, I checked if they moved down in price a few times and lone behold they went down twice so I called up Costco and got an additional $800 back total due to the items dropping in price after I purchased. The crazy part is, the fridge dropped $500 alone for only a single day, I called them that day and got my refund.

Anyone know if Costco would price adjust the "appliances promotion" into an order if you bought the appliances just 2 weeks ago?
Yes. If you purchased from Costco.com, you can request a price adjustment through their dedicated website. If you bought it in a warehouse, you'll need to visit the store for the adjustment. Just a reminder: if the new deal includes an extra bonus—like a free mini fridge—you won't receive the bonus or be refunded for it during a price adjustment. You can request multiple price adjustments within 30 days of your original purchase, but the item must be in stock at the time of the adjustment.

Well I've had my LG washer and dryer for 13 years now without an ounce of problems, as has my mom. My daughter had her set for the same time and just upsized to the Mega size, and she went LG again. Just our experience.
Thanks. The LG top loader with gas dryer is tempting. But there seem to be a lot of recent reviews complaining about it, even though the ratings average 4.4. I have an Admiral set that came with my house 20 years ago and is still going but will need to be replaced soon. Hoping one of these will last as long - glad to hear your LG set has been going strong for so long.

Front load or top load?
Top loader with gas dryer - due to space and electrical system constraints.

LG is fantastic for laundry. Anything in the kitchen, not so much.

correct regarding single items that drop in price. i have done the single item costco.com request thru their webiste.

this ask was about a "mulitple item or multiple items above a certain $" promotional discount.

But anyways, I app chatted with CS and they applied the current promotional discount OP posted to my order I made a week ago.

Do you own LG kitchen appliances? They're at the top of Consumer Reports lists, so I'm interested to hear about your experience with them.
