Price is $1.48/roll (Special Buy) locally, but I found this non-premium version for $0.98/roll locally:

Is this a good deal or a so-so deal? Need paper towels but don't know if this is a good price for the size? Anyone who can chime in…would be appreciated. Thank you.

From what I can see the premium towel is not .98. the .98 is the price of the lower quality towel which according to reviews is not very good

But here locally the premium is 98 cents …so would that make it a good deal?

The premium towel shows 98 cents in my area. I know these rolls are a little smaller than the Kirkland paper towels, but they break down to about $1.67 a roll.

Assuming you can get the premium locally for $0.98/roll, at 36.9 sqft/roll, that's $0.0265/sqft, which doesn't seem that great IMO.

The non-premium for $0.98/roll, at 52.7 sqft/roll, is $0.0185/sqft, but the reviews are pretty meh (though they mostly seem to be comparing it to the premium version).

I don't know how the quality compares to Bounty but - the large bundles of Bounty at Sam's sells for .038/sq ft while this premium towel at .98/roll sells for .024/sq ft. . This is based on the HD specs stating the roll is 40.32 sq ft.
