*You can purchase a membership and use that same log in for another phone to get the extra features, but you can only have one dash cam per device (can't figure out how to add a second camera in the app without it trying to connect to the first dash cam).

why do you have connect to it every time you start the car?
It records automatically, doesn't it?
What does connecting to the camera with wifi do for you?

Agree. With the way people are driving these days, dashcams are very much needed. None of these cams (at the price most people would be willing to pay for) will be able to read license plates, but they're great to prove who was at fault and other things, like proving that you passed when the light was still yellow against a cop saying you ran a red light.

Why are you constantly connecting to the wifi? Wifi is only to download recording to your phone etc if you need a copy of the recording and don't want to pull out the camera.
