That is a lot of TV for not a lot of moolah. If you are looking for just sheer size I don't think you will beat this price. Just know that insignia is pretty bottom tier in terms of performance. You definitely get what you pay for. I have one from them from years back and while I know technology has progressed my 43" bedroom tv has noticeable smearing and contrast issues. Not unusable by any stretch, but I can certainly see the problems being more noticeable on a larger screen like this.
Now Rtings doesn't have this exact model reviewed, but they do have 2 others listed in the same range. I would say that this big boi likely sits somewhere between these two below.

Yeah, lots of folks will snub their noses here, and that's fine & dandy. Still, as previously stated, a lot of TV for not a lot of money and will be a favor for somebody. Repped.

I purchased this a few years back, and I know it's cheap and all, but even setting expectations very low I was still surprised how washed out colors, very little contrast and overall bad this unit was. I didn't mind it, since it was for little kids watching youtube, but I don't think I ever owned a unit that bad.
