These are disposable rings. They stretch out rather quickly so you end up replacing them every couple of months.

I don't want 7 rings, nor 20. I just want 1 to rule them all.

Yep, these are great, I keep them around as I can not wear a metal one for work, and if I lose one who cares

I wear silicone rings for work. If you work with your hands and have ever seen a degloved finger these are an instant buy.
But you don't have to wear a ring at all

Silicone? Uhh what "finger" are these good for?
Mostly for those who work with machinery or manual labor where getting a ring caught or finger smashed could mean amputation or degloving. Also good for travel to sketchy cities/countries. Also for sports like basketball or climbing where you could easily jam a finger.

a few years back I got a 14k gold plated Tungsten carbide imitated meteorite - love this thing, and it does look great too!
I believe mine is made from Kryptonite since I haven't had any of my powers in 20 years

interesting. does anyone really need a pack of 7 "weddinng" rings?
They stretch out and eventually get lost. However, I find them more comfortable than my actual band. I drive a keyboard for a living but between sports, yard work, other housework, travel, etc., these things are great!

I bought a pack for creeper reasons. Keep one with the concert earplugs (x3 for different bags), one in usual toiletry bag, one in lightweight toiletry bag, and one with car keys.
I don't understand.

This is much better priced than those stupid "designer" silicon bands that they sell for $30+ each.

I thought I need these for gym, but it appears I am doing just fine with my actual wedding bands and gloves on.
Gloves for gym use should work fine. There are other glove situations where something like this may be a better option. My dad had an electrician friend who wore a metal ring and used gloves for protection - ring or not - when doing electrical work. One day, he got a shock to the ring that resulted in his losing the finger. Seems he never checked to notice that over time, the ring had worn a hole in the glove. Everyone's situation is unique - and - just because the breaker is off does not mean there is no current flowing in your work.Still need to check. I know of two situations (witnessed one myself) in which someone was shocked because someone had a bootleg wire supplying current. Sorry to digress - I think the topic more about degloving accidents.

Anyway, in for one.

You can love your wife.. and still not wear a ring.. a "tradition" that is past it's time IMO.
