6 bux more get you Extended Performance. The EP formulation contains more molybdenum, anti-wear agent, than other versions.

Seems like this oil is always on special at walmart. Too bad the ESPx2 is never included. 2 of our three vehicles require it. VW 508.00/GM DexD

That is over kill for a simple oil change. I seen plugs that have a shut off valve that make it easier to change oil. That is more practical. Then again oil changes are easy enough. Just jack your car. Remove the plug, change filter. Place plug back to spec. Add oil nothing to it.
any idea why jiffy lube always f up? most time its plugs leaking fully or little by little?

I used to go there too. Same problem, provably new people doing the oil change. Sometimes you have to change the plug when the washer looks worn out.

For those buying in bulk and stockpiling for over 1 year, the additives can fall out of suspension and settle at the bottom (moly, zinc, etc). Check the bottom of the jug for white/off-white sediment after it's empty. Plan for another oil change sooner than you normally would have if you find it, or change immediately with fresh oil if paranoid.

Just shake it up.

My Tesla doesn't seem to be happy with this. Zero stars.
Bad jokes aside, decent deal. Not really a slick deal.
Oil threads are like speaker threads, where everyone has some unbacked opinion. Kind of fun to watch.
Cheap name brand oil that is clean beats dirty oil with any fancy additives, formulas, etc.
Lighter weights will slightly improve fuel economy at the expense of slightly increased engine wear.
If you see a noticeable increase in MPG after an oil change, you aren't changing your oil frequently enough.
Will be down voted, but no idea why other than being dumb enough to comment on an oil thread. Even "big oil" should agree with me, as more frequent oil changes means more business for them. The only one that benefits from a failure to change your oil on a 5k interval are the auto manufacturers that hope to sell you a new car every 10 years.

My Audi requires a 5.5qts every oil change, went with the costco kirkland 12pk for $45+tax.
I have a little extra just in case but this works much better for me, I get two full changes for me on this one.

It doesn't always re-suspend all of the additives, especially if it's caked on the bottom of the jug.
Regardless, I wouldn't go the full mileage if I find any sediments.
YMMV.

0w-20 AFE is the only oil i've tried that burns significantly in my 2.5L NA vehicle. not worth the risk of having low oil level imo.
