There is no bundle for the Japanese version so you are stuck with a very generic and soulless dub. Still it is the price of one season for the entire thing. If a sub was available this would be a must buy for any anime fan

This dub is fine. Some people have nostalgia for the original 90s dub of this show which was heavily censored and rewritten, and had very silly and "cartoony" voice acting. I'm one of them, even though it was a poorly made English dub those voices remind me of seeing it all those years ago.

But all of the censorship and cut content makes it unwatchable to me and many others, which is why they re-dubbed it in English with new voice actors. The actors went for a more realistic and less cartoony approach, some people dislike it but I think they did a fine job, and anyone who is only interested in watching this in English should buy it.

Just get the blu-rays at your local used bookstore/record shop. The dubs are nowhere near as good.

This is a great show if you haven't seen it. Kind of ridiculous that Fandango is selling an English-only version of it, it's not hard to offer both audio tracks and subtitles, the physical media has that.

This is the newer English dub without censorship. Viz media did the new dub and I double checked the "cast and crew" page to confirm it's the new voice actors. They do a good job and this is how I watched the show for the first time, I never felt like I was missing out even though I don't doubt that the Japanese is better.
