My family loves sparkling water. So nice when it gets delivered so dad doesn't have to get it and carry it home.

I used to drink LaCroix and other brands before I learned about this. I understand that not everyone cares about this, so YMMV.

PSA: LaCroix is on the lower end for sparkling water brands that are above the recommended dosage for PFAS according to consumer reports testing. For those that care about their long term health:

TLDR: Acording to studies, PFAS are bad for longterm health outcomes. safer, but still cheap option compared to LaCroix appears to be Waterloo atm.

I tried this and picked a different flavor of LaCroix which I found later wasn't included in sale. I went back and picked only from their page which is very choice and quantity limited. In order to qualify I have to pick some flavors I don't like as much so I'm on the fence whether to proceed or not...

Maybe if the SodaSense machine from that page also had a $20 off $60. Either way, the flavoring is extra.

Not that good of a deal. Local grocery stores selling LaCroix at $2 for 8. Just have to watch for the sales.

This stacked with a 20% S&S coupon on first order of Peet's house blend 88ct. After 15% S&S, the order was down to $21.40

This article in the blog is so flawed. Did you even read it through? Let me point out a few things about the blog you shared:
  1. The blog article was written BY a DIY sparkling water company called "Soda Sense", discussing the presence of Forever Chemicals (PFAS) in canned sparkling water. This is basically asking a vegan food company to write about the benefits of red meat.
  2. The article starts out saying many canned sparkling water brands exceed the recommended amount of PFAS (i.e. 1 PFAS) in their drinks set by the "Environmental Working Group". However, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) sets the limit to 4 ~10 PFAS. (PFOA: 4.0 parts per trillion (ppt) ; PFOS: 4.0 ppt ; PFNA: 10 ppt ; PFHxS: 10 ppt ; HFPO-DA (commonly known as GenX): 10 ppt). Who the heck is the Environmental Working Group?
  3. Most of the popular soda brands (Coke, Pepsi, Dr. p) contain between 2~4 ppt PFAS. Canned sparkling water brands typically contain less than 1.5 PFAS. They seem relatively safe to me compared to most of the soda drinks.
  4. Lastly, they concluded the blog article with a summary, stating that you should make your own sparkling water, with a link to their Soda Sense website.
Come on.... You can do better than this...
