It's a Sharper Image product but it's very likely Vornado was involved in designing or producing these. Sharper Image has a partnership with Vornado and sells Vornado products.

I've been on the search for a fan like this. Got about 7.5in of space under my monitor, currently got a vornado sphere there. This takes almost to the limit with slightly larger fan blade. Seems like a good angle, hope the switch isn't a pain to get to.

anybody have a desktop vornado? I've had a few in the garage or outside but even the smallest ones I've had, while great fans, are really quite loud.

Few fan designers have the decency to make a fan that is cleanable.I recommend getting a Dreo brand DC fan from Amazon warehouse when they have an extra 40% off. The Wi-Fi version is only slightly higher than the regular version so you wanna do that.It's super low noise, great flow and designed to be taken apart and cleaned.DC motors one quieter and they don't have a hum that AC motors have . Everyone ignores the hum and denies it exist but it objectively and googooibility does and bothers me I know it's there I believe it bothers everyone ,they just too sloppy people people sloppy. And I believe AC motors have a tinge smell that DC motors don't have. I never quite figured that out.

I bought this last time SideDeal had it up. It works well, is loud on the high setting, and honestly, isn't a great "desktop" fan because it's angled up, away from where your upper body/head are. I have it propped up in the rear to actually blow cool air on me.

Anyway, worth $10.

While I agree, I think it's fair to say that Sharper Image has more notable brand recognition, even if it is a bit of a fossil. Most people couldn't name a fan brand outside of Dyson.
