Why is Baseus half the price of Anker for a product with "equivalent" specs? I've read up on them and people really seem to like their products, but when they're this cheap it feels too good to be true.

This manufacturer has burned me once, it's gonna take a few years for me to regain any kind of trust in them.

There are also a bunch of reviews stating that it doesn't deliver close to rated power output.

Anker does seem to be overpriced. I have bought a couple of other products from Baseus , the 65W 20000mAh and another 20W PD 10000mAh power banks. Been over 2 years and probably 60+ charge cycles and they are still holding up well.

While I haven't measured it accurately, I still get 3 full charges of my P9PXL which has a 5000 mAh battery. Never had any issue of overheating. Has survived a few drops too . Apart from scuff marks on the body, no other impact. I would buy from them again considering I am at two for two in terms of quality.

Edit: Item description says 77Wh. Still within the limit. The four 5000 mAh applies to the 20,000 mAh version which comes to 72Wh. Got the models mixed up in original reply.

Yes. TSA allows any battery with 100Wh capacity or less without any approvals. This power bank contains four 3.6V/5000mAh battery cells connected in series. 20,800mAh @ 3.6V comes to 74.88 Wh - well within the limit.
