It looks like it, just skip by the plan selection page and it gets you to a page where you can checkout without the discounts. I haven't actually tried to check out yet though as the pixel 9 pro doesn't really seem like much of an upgrade on the pixel 7 pro.

Pixel devices are fine. You're too sensitive.

Apple is a cult and Samsung regularly offers discounts.

US Mobile currently has a promotion for Pixel 9 $249, Pixel 9 Pro XL $699 with new Unlimited Plan. Stackable with GOGO Unlimited Plan.

2. Unlock Policy

a. $550 off Pixel 9: The purchased device is locked to US Mobile at the time of sale and will automatically unlock after 90 days of continuous service on a US Mobile line. If the unlock criteria are not met, the device will unlock automatically after 12 months.

I ordered the phone and starter SIM kit but skipped the $25/m plan. I planned to get the $45 - 3 months later on. I plan to use the phone by doing the XDA OOBE skip procedures, and moved the SIM to another phone to be used in Canada with Wifi Calling.

Questions I have tho:
- When should I plug the SIM into the Pixel 9 to get the 90 days timer to start? Is the timer based on activation of the hardware or activation of the plan?
- I will be using Wifi Calling since I will be in Canada and check into T-Mobile service once a month. From the rep says, I just need to have an active service for 90 days and the phone will unlock. Is this true?
- At which point I need to choose which network I want to be on?
- What is the cheapest monthly plan that will qualify for the unlock? It explicitly says US Mobile Line and didn't say any Unlimited Plan.

Longtime US Mobile customer. This is already sold out. I just got the email alert from US Mobile today at noon CST. Came here to see the scuttlebutt after I saw it was sold out.

Imma guess they didn't have a purchase limit and Swappa and eBay a-holes got them all.

there was a limit for 5 per account. That's too excessive to me to give everyone a chance.

Yep, especially with how easy it is to start a US Mobile web account. (I keep accidentally starting a second one with my Google or Facebook login). I'm sure resellers used multiple accounts

I guess it'll bring the Swappa price down but they'll probably try to flip these for $499-599

Grabbed one before they were gone! Got a Spigen case and screen protectors on order already. Usually use Visible which is owned by Verizon so it will be interesting to see what differences if any there are with US Mobile.
Thanks OP for posting!

These aren't even selling for $450 unlocked on marketplace. And now no one would buy it for $400 either. There's barely any money to be made here

Especially after 3 months when the pixel 10 is out, the margins are thin

I think a good majority of people taking advantage of this won't be using USM long term, that being said the Fi promo requires 6 months of continuous service, and if you cancel service before that they will claw back the promo amount in full.
So, let me understand your reasoning here...you want to just buy the phone from US Cellular, but not use their service because it comes unlocked? For those of you that are not habitual cell phone carrier switchers...The Google Fi phones "deals" may indeed come with a 6 month unlock condition, but who cares, you are going to have to have service somewhere and their plans are super competitive. The only drawback would be is if you are in a service area where you must have access to only Verizon or ATT service towers as I believe Google FI primarily uses T-Mobile's network. So, from this perspective having a choice of carrier options with USM may be the way to go, but you will pay more for the actual phone. Cheers!

Yes, I genuinely believe a good majority who want this promo will be doing the bare minimum to unlock and walk, also Google Fis offer was targeted in addition to having the service commitment.

Anyone should unlock it.
Choose whatever has best coverage in your area
Warp – Verizon Wireless
Light Speed – T-Mobile
Dark Star – AT&T

In my experience AT&T was heavily throttling and was slow. Switching to Verison gave better speeds on 5G networks.
